- Saas (Software As A Service): this technology consists in providing software or services directly via Internet and no more like an application that we install on a computer. Customers do not paid to possess the tool itself but to use it.
- Monitoring: way to control/supervise a process in real time. Generally, monitoring is displayed on a screen permitting to visualize the process as a « video ».
- Cloud computing (or « distributed computing »): the exchanges are managed and centralized by remote servers. The applications are no more stored in the workstation, but in « cloud » of servers.
Key accounts were the first companies using this type of service, supplied by external providers. These providers supply the computing necessary means and the space of storage and so, companies can reach their information via Internet.
- VPN (Virtual Private Network): technique that allow the creation of private and secured network.
- IDS (Intrusion Detection System): an IDS tool is used todetect unauthorized intrusions on a network or server.
- Lead auditor: thanks this training, engineers can become Auditor for the management of operating system security.
